Fish Facts:
 | Fish are usually found around structures ( holes, bumps, drop-offs,
wrecks, rocks, piers, weeds, etc.) |
 | Fish are usually more active during incoming and outgoing tides as bait
fish get forced over and around structures |
 | Eating habits of fish change as the day changes (tides, temperature, wind,
dawn, noon, clouds, rain, etc.) |
 | Water temperature determines the type of fish in the area |
Fishing Tips:
 | Locate a structure using your Charts, Loran, GPS, Depth Finder,
etc. |
 | Fish this structure during tide changes |
 | Try different baits - until you are successful |
 | Use your FISH LOG to record information for future trips |
How to Use: Keep your FISH LOG in
your tackle box or at home. Before you begin your next fishing trip, refer
to your log book. Check to see if you logged a " HOT SPOT " at approximately the same time of year. If so, check the tide condition
and try to fish that location at the same tide. Most likely, you will experience
the same success as you did previously. Take the guess work out of
choosing your fishing location and start building your own collection of
"HOT SPOTS".
