Reliefband® with Replaceable Batteries, the #1 preferred Drug-Free Treatment for Motion Sickness

Reliefband NOW with Replaceable Batteries  - New 2015, the Non-Drug Solution for Motion Sickness

The ReliefBand® with Replaceable Batteries is a FDA cleared medical device that relieves symptoms associated with Motion Sickness (nausea and vomiting) using proprietary nerve stimulation technology.  Technically referred to as “neuromodulation,” the ReliefBand® with Replaceable Batteries is specifically programmed to regulate and balance the various stimulus mechanisms causing motion sickness.  When activated, the device emits gentle electrical impulses to the underside of the wrist. These intermittent signals create a “tingling” sensation in the palm and middle fingers, indicating the device is working and stimulating the appropriate median nerve.

  1. Find the starting area on the wrist.  Using either wrist, the correct area is in between the two tendons on the underside of the wrist-two finger widths from the first crease in the wrist

  2. Apply a small drop of gel and spread in a circle about the size of a large coin with an even sheen.

  3. Place the device over the gelled area and attach it to the wrist.  Fasten device snugly.

Motion Sickness affects up to 33% of the population.  It is a complex process that is triggered by a multitude of biological and physical pathways, and often occurs when the body is subjected to accelerations of movement in different directions or under conditions where visual contact with the actual outside horizon is disoriented. Symptoms generally consist of nausea, dizziness, fatigue or malaise which may progress to vomiting. Symptoms can occur before (anticipatory) or after an activity begins and if left untreated can linger for hours or days.

Features / Benefits

If you have ever felt sick to your stomach on a bumpy plane ride or a rocking boat, you know how miserable it can be.  Even after you are back on stable ground, the feeling can last for several hours or days.  The ReliefBand®   is a unique, patented, drug-free medical device cleared by the FDA for treatment of motion sickness.

The ReliefBand®   for motion sickness is an FDA cleared drug-free treatment that helps relieve motion sickness so that you can travel with confidence on planes, boats, cars… or anywhere you want to go.

Stop letting Motion Sickness control your activities!  The FDA cleared ReliefBand®   relieves nausea and vomiting so you can go on boats, planes, cars, amusement park rides… and travel with confidence. Medications may help, but many times have side effects such as drowsiness, dry mouth or headaches, that can be just as unwelcomed as the symptoms being treated.

The FDA cleared ReliefBand®   provides relief for motion sickness without the use of medication by stimulating the median nerve located on the underside of the wrist, reducing nausea & vomiting associated with boat, air, and automobile travel.

The ReliefBand®   is a drug-free treatment that can be used prior to - or after the presence of motion sickness’ symptoms. It will not interfere with medications, nor cause drug-related side effects. The ReliefBand® was specifically designed to provide a comfortable level of stimulation enabling the device to be used for long-term, continuous use.

The ReliefBand® has no drug like side effects such as drowsiness, dry mouth or headache

Unlike pressure bands, where the body quickly adapts to the effect of static pressure, ReliefBand®  ’s cyclic electronic pulses provide continual effectiveness for as long as the user has the device turned on.

In the past, sufferers of motion sickness have had to limit their favorite activities or stop them altogether. Medications may help, but usually have side effects which can be just as unwelcome as the symptoms being treated.  The ReliefBand®   puts you in the driver’s seat with the ability to control symptoms without drugs-without delay.

  1. The ReliefBand®   generates a proprietary programmed electrical pulse from the underside of the device that stimulates the median nerve

  2. The generated signals travel via the peripheral nervous system to the central nervous system and the higher emetic center of the brain.

  3. The signals modulate the neural pathways between the brain and the stomach, via the vagus nerve, restoring normal gastric rhythm and relieving nausea and vomiting.

Pacemaker users - Use this device only as directed on the wrist to prevent possible interference with your pacemaker. Avoid placing the electrodes directly on your chest or near the pacemaker.

The ReliefBand®   should only be used on the wrist. Do not use it on any other areas of the body because the device might cause undesirable effects such as tingling, muscle twitching or skin irritation.

The ReliefBand®   should be kept out of reach of young children.

bullet This product contains natural rubber latex, which may cause allergic skin reactions.

bullet Because it produces no drug-like side effects, the ReliefBand®   is fully FAA-legal for pilot use, and is ideal for student pilots and aerobatic pilots who need relief from motion sickness.
